Product Information
This Cablecraft Betaflex corrugated conduit (code CC 20B) is a 20mm black polypropylene flexible conduit supplied on a 100m reel. It is a light, economical way to protect and route cables in panels, machinery, partitions, ceiling voids and general light-duty installations where rigid conduit is not practical.
The corrugated profile lets it bend easily around obstacles and into enclosures. The 14mm internal bore leaves room for several small cables or a control or data cable run. The halogen-free polypropylene material is light and easy to cut with a conduit cutter or sharp knife, and the 100m reel suits larger jobs or stocking a van.
- 20mm outside diameter, 14mm inside diameter
- Black, halogen-free polypropylene
- Corrugated for easy bending
- Supplied on a 100m reel
Cablecraft lists this conduit as non-flame retardant. Where flame-retardant or low smoke performance is required, choose a conduit rated for that use. Terminate it with compatible 20mm flexible conduit glands to keep runs secure and tidy. Covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Cablecraft lists the CC 20B Betaflex polypropylene conduit as non-flame retardant. It is suitable for general light-duty cable protection, but where the specification calls for flame-retardant, low smoke or specific fire performance, choose a conduit that is tested and rated for that use. Check the project specification and the manufacturer's data before installing it in escape routes or public areas.
The conduit has an internal diameter of 14mm. How many cables fit depends on their outside diameter and how easily they need to be drawn in, so there is no fixed number. Allow spare space so cables can be pulled through without damage, especially on longer runs or runs with several bends. Use the cable factor tables in current wiring guidance to work out capacity.
Use 20mm glands and connectors designed for corrugated flexible conduit, so the fitting locks into the corrugations. Cablecraft offers Betaflex fittings, but different Betaflex conduit types use different profiles, so confirm with the manufacturer that the fittings you choose suit the CC 20B polypropylene conduit before ordering. Correct fittings keep the run secure and stop the conduit pulling out of enclosures.
The manufacturer data we found does not give an IP rating or UV resistance for this conduit, so we cannot confirm it is suitable for outdoor use. For external runs, or where the conduit will be exposed to sunlight, choose a product that is specifically rated for UV and outdoor exposure, and check the manufacturer's instructions.
