GU10 LED Bulbs

GU10 LED bulbs are push-and-twist spotlight lamps used in downlights, spotlights and track lights, and they replace old halogen GU10s using a fraction of the energy. We stock Kosnic GU10 LEDs in 2700K warm white, 4000K cool white and 6500K daylight, with dimmable, narrow and wide beam options and a Bluetooth smart RGB lamp.

Check the colour temperature, beam angle and whether you need a dimmable lamp before you order. Trade prices apply, and in-stock orders placed by 5pm on weekdays are delivered the next working day across NI and ROI.

How to choose the right GU10 LED bulb

All GU10 lamps share the same twist-lock cap, so the choice comes down to how the light looks and how it is controlled.

What to compare

  • Colour temperature: about 2700K for a warm, relaxed feel in living rooms and bedrooms; 4000K for kitchens, bathrooms and offices; 6500K daylight for task and utility areas.
  • Brightness: compare lumens rather than watts. Check the lumen figure on each lamp when replacing halogen GU10s.
  • Beam angle: a narrow beam (around 36°) highlights features; a wide beam (around 60°) spreads light more evenly.
  • Dimming: only dimmable lamps should be used with a dimmer, and the dimmer must suit LED loads.

Fittings and safety

Check the fitting's maximum wattage and any IP rating needed for bathrooms or outdoors. Where ceilings must keep their fire rating, use fire-rated downlights. Always isolate the circuit and let halogen lamps cool before changing them.

Shop fire-rated downlights, general downlights and LED dimmer switches to go with your lamps.
