Sunbeam
Sunbeam produces household heating appliances, including portable electric heaters for quick, flexible warmth. At Meteor Electrical, our Sunbeam range features the Sunbeam 2000 watt convector heater with timer, a free-standing heater that warms a room by circulating air.
A convector heater is a handy choice for spare rooms, offices, workshops and conservatories, and a built-in timer helps manage when it runs. Trade customers get trade pricing, and in-stock heaters ordered before 5pm arrive next working day across Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Is a convector heater right for you?
Convector heaters draw in cool air, warm it over an element and release it, creating a circulating flow that heats the whole room fairly quickly.
Why choose a 2000W convector
- Fast warm-up: good for rooms used occasionally or for short periods.
- Portable: can be moved between rooms as needed.
- Timer control: lets you set the heater to come on or switch off at set times.
Sizing and running
A 2kW heater suits many small to medium rooms, but insulation, ceiling height and window area all affect how warm a room will get. For spaces that need constant background heat, a wall-mounted panel heater or radiator with a thermostat may be more efficient.
Safe use tips
- Plug directly into a wall socket rather than an extension lead, given the high load.
- Keep the heater clear of curtains, furniture and bedding.
- Never cover the heater or use it to dry clothes.
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for placement and use.
