The ATC W5-U is a compact 5 litre unvented water heater designed to fit under a sink or basin. It provides stored hot water close to the point of use, which cuts the wait for hot water at sinks a long way from the main system. It is a sensible option for offices, kitchenettes, cloakrooms, small shops and workshops, and the manufacturer recommends it for one or two basins.
The 2kW element heats the stored water, and an external adjustable thermostat lets you set the outlet temperature. Inlet and outlet connections are ½" male fittings on the top of the unit, and a wall bracket is supplied for mounting under the worktop.
