Connect
The Connect range is an off-white, moulded plastic range of switches and sockets for everyday domestic and commercial wiring. It includes 13A switched and unswitched sockets, 1 to 6 gang 2-way light switches, intermediate and pull cord switches, and a 20A double pole switch with neon.
You will also find unswitched fused spurs, 15A round pin sockets, 400W push on/off dimmers, telephone outlets, blank plates and pattress boxes. Buy at trade prices and get in-stock items delivered next working day across NI and ROI when you order before 5pm.
How to choose Connect switches and sockets
Connect covers almost every standard wiring accessory in one consistent off-white finish, which makes it easy to kit out a whole property from a single range.
What is in the range
- Light switches: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 gang 2-way, plus intermediate switches for three-way switching.
- Sockets: 13A single and double, switched and unswitched, plus 15A round pin for dedicated lamp circuits.
- Control: 20A DP switch with neon for appliances such as immersion heaters, and unswitched fused spurs.
- Dimmers: 400W push on/off dimmers in 1, 2 and 3 gang.
- Finishing: blank plates, telephone outlets and 16mm and 33mm surface pattress boxes.
Tips for specifying
Check the box depth before you order: surface pattress boxes in 16mm and 33mm suit different accessories, so confirm compatibility with the plate. Traditional dimmers may not suit low-wattage LED lamps, so choose dedicated LED dimmer switches where needed. Flush installs need suitable socket back boxes, and ceiling points can be finished with matching ceiling roses. Follow current wiring regulations for bathrooms and special locations.
