Panel Heaters

Electric panel heaters are slim, wall-mounted convection heaters that warm a room quickly and hold a set temperature using built-in electronic controls. We stock the ATC Almeria Eco range from 500W to 2000W, including the DPH digital models, plus Almeria Eco Wi-Fi panel heaters in white or black from 750W to 2kW for app-controlled scheduling.

They suit bedrooms, offices, flats and extensions. Trade account holders get trade rates, and in-stock heaters ordered by 5pm Monday to Friday are delivered next working day in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

How to choose the right panel heater

Panel heaters are one of the simplest ways to add controllable electric heat. They are light, quick to fit and respond fast, which makes them ideal for rooms that need heating to a schedule rather than all day.

Standard or Wi-Fi?

  • ATC Almeria Eco (DPH500 to DPH2000-ECO): digital panel heaters with on-board programming, controlled at the heater itself.
  • ATC Almeria Eco Wi-Fi: the same slim format with app control for remote scheduling, available in white or black in 750W, 1kW, 1.5kW and 2kW.

If you want whole-house control from a phone, the Wi-Fi versions avoid the need for separate smart switching. For heaters with more thermal mass and a slower, steadier output, compare our Lifestyle electric radiators.

Getting the size right

Work from the room's heat loss rather than floor area alone. Ceiling height, insulation, window size and the number of outside walls all change the output needed. Small, well-insulated bedrooms may need only 500W to 750W, while larger living spaces often need 1.5kW to 2kW or two heaters on different walls for even heat.

Installation tips

Mount panel heaters on a solid surface using the supplied bracket, ideally on an outside wall or under a window, observing the clearances in the instructions. Fixed heaters are normally connected via a switched fused connection unit, which you will find in our wiring accessories. Bathroom installation depends on the IP rating and permitted zones, so check current wiring regulations and the manufacturer's guidance first. For more app-controlled options, see our smart heaters.
