The GC8EV40S EV Distribution Board is a complete, ready-to-install solution designed specifically for electric vehicle charging applications. Supplied with integrated surge protection, a 40A RCBO, and a 100A isolator, this board provides reliable circuit protection for EV installations in domestic and commercial environments.
Built with a durable ABS and polycarbonate enclosure, the unit is both halogen free and highly resistant to impact, achieving an IK08 rating. The enclosure is also IP65 rated, offering protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The board features a 63A double pole MCB with a 10kA rated conditional short circuit capacity, ensuring dependable protection and compliance with modern electrical installation standards. With 8 total ways and 1 free way remaining, it provides flexibility for future expansion or additional circuit integration.
Designed for long-term performance, the enclosure passes a 650°C glow wire test and a 70°C ball pressure test, demonstrating excellent resistance to heat and fire-related conditions. Suitable for operation in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +40°C, the GC8EV40S is engineered for demanding environments.

Meteor Electrical Limited will accept returns up until 14 days after dispatch date on the conditions

- The materials contain all original documentation (instructions, manuals, warranties or any other literature)
- Product is deemed by our returns department to be in a re-sellable condition
All refunds are made to the same payment method used originally to place the order (e.g. VISA Card) - unless specifically requested otherwise.
Faulty Products
- Products that are faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
- The complete product must be returned, unless previously agreed by Meteor Electrical in writing; incomplete items of parts may not be returned.
