Product Information
This GARO 12 module enclosure is a weatherproof, single-row DIN rail housing for building outdoor or wet-area distribution boards. It is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and IK08 for impact, making it a sensible choice for garages, outbuildings, plant rooms, farm buildings and external supplies.
The body is made from halogen-free ABS and polycarbonate, with a UV-protected transparent hinged door so you can check device status without opening it. The door opens to 180 degrees for easy access during wiring and testing. Inside, the DIN rail can be fitted at two heights to suit different devices, and double-height earth and neutral bars are provided. Moulded knockouts top and bottom accept a range of metric glands.

The enclosure is supplied empty, so you choose the isolator, RCDs and MCBs to suit the circuit design. Use suitably rated glands to keep the IP65 rating, and make sure installation complies with current wiring regulations. It is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

No. The GCUT112 is supplied as an empty enclosure with DIN rail and earth and neutral bars. You fit the main switch, RCDs, RCBOs or MCBs to suit your design. Check that the devices you choose fit within 12 modules and are suitable for the enclosure, and that the completed assembly meets current wiring regulations.
The enclosure has moulded knockouts top and bottom. The top has 6 x M25, 2 x M25, 2 x M32 and 1 x M40, and the bottom has 6 x M20, 2 x M25, 2 x M32 and 1 x M40. There are also internal and oblong rear knockouts. Use IP-rated glands so the enclosure keeps its IP65 rating.
A standard door catch is fitted. GARO offers key locks and triangle locks as accessories if you need to restrict access, for example in public areas or on farms. The four screws that hold the frame to the base can also be sealed. Check availability of the lock accessories for this enclosure size before ordering.
