LED strip lights, also called LED tape, are flexible circuit strips carrying rows of LEDs that run from a low-voltage driver and fit into coves, cabinets, shelves, profiles and recesses for continuous linear light. Our range features Aurora 24V COB strip in 5W/m and 9.6W/m outputs in 3000K and 4000K, Aurora drivers, connectors and aluminium profiles, plus the SGD 24W ribbon light.

How to choose LED strip lighting
An LED strip installation is a small system rather than a single product. Getting the strip, driver, profile and connections to work together is what gives a clean, even line of light that lasts.
What makes up a strip lighting system
- LED strip – the light source, sold by the metre or as a reel or kit.
- Driver – converts mains to the low DC voltage the strip needs, such as 24V.
- Aluminium profile and diffuser – protects the strip, helps manage heat and hides individual LED dots.
- Connectors and end caps – straight, L-shaped, strip-to-strip and strip-to-wire connectors for corners and feeds.
- Control – an LED-compatible dimmer or control system where dimming is needed.
Key specifications
Check the voltage first: the strip and driver must match. Watts per metre tells you the brightness and the load on the driver, so a 9.6W/m strip suits cove and feature lighting while lower outputs suit shelves and display cabinets. COB strip gives a continuous, dot-free line, which is useful in shallow profiles. Installation tips
Clean and dry surfaces before applying the self-adhesive backing, and mount strip in an aluminium profile wherever it will run for long periods at high output. Cut only at the marked points. Size the driver with headroom above the total load, keep it ventilated and accessible, and plan feed points so long runs do not suffer voltage drop.
