Only 34 Staff Kept on As Electrical Specialist Murphy Ltd fails to re-spark the business

Murphy Ltd, specialists in Electrical Cabling has been forced to leave 293 of his 327 staff redundant as they enter administration. 34 members of staff have been allowed prolonged stay while administrations explore which way best to expose of Murphy’s business and assets.

Murphy had offices throughout the United Kingdom which included places like London, Preston, Bradford, and Manchester. Administrators Nick Edwards and Rob Harding believed the reason of the firms demise, was the long period of difficult training.

Nick Edwards, went on to say that there was no other possible way but to just announce the redundancies at this time, due to the Murphy Group being unable to meet its financial obligations.

However, for the other group companies such as Clear Route Utility Services Ltd, Northern Reliable Industrial Services Ltd and Reliable Construction Ltd, will continue as normal unaffected bt the administration as they are not connected to the Murphy Group.
