Controlling the lights in your house using an app for whatever mood you're in
When Philips first brought the hue into the market it was considered to be silly and pointless, as it basically allowed you to light a room in sequence similar to what you were watching onTV such as an action movie or a simple program on your sky box or saorview box.
Usually when people speak of something that is ‘smart’ it could be said to be ‘useless’ or ‘impossible to use’ however, Philips have seemed to make their new product user friendly through the use of their app.
Through the app, it has allowed some very clever things to occur by means of automatically switching on the lights upon entering the house, make the lights flash when a goal is scored and even flash a colour to signify when your boss has sent you an e-mail. It can recreate hues from any image or landscape through offering a level of ambience control which has made dimmer switches look like a thing of the past. It has indefinitely without hesitation made home lighting somewhat fun and entertaining especially with a feature on the app to switch all lamps into a Disco mode for any parties.
