A new phone case has been launched that not only protects your phone from scratches and cracks it also looks after your body as well!

The case has been called Wello which cleverly has a large range of sensors built into the shell of the case. If for example you want to check your blood pressure all you have to do is put pressure on these small sensors so that it can calculate the pressure.

The app is not only limited to blood pressure it can also monitor temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen and can even carry out an ECG in your heart. If you want to go one further you can buy a plug in spirometer to check your lung capacity and air flow.

Once you carry out these easy tests the case will store all the data within an app on your phone so that you can have quick access to all your statistics and you can look at trends to predict when you might fall ill. The app is not limited to yourself as you can use it to set up profiles for other family members so you can all analysis each other’s results.  If you are found of walking and have a wrist band that tracks your movement throughout the day you can add this to the app so it can track these results in a graph form.

The maker of the case known as Azoi says that it “records all data with medical grade accuracy.” The case itself starts at a price of £120 and it is believed that it is the cheapest device on the market. The company have only released an iPhone version of the case but in the near future they plan to introduce a case for the ever popular android mobile phone.
