Product Information
The light scatter principle is used by the AlarmSense Optical Smoke Detectors. At a predetermined level of smoke penetration into the detecting chamber, the optical detector goes into alert mode. The integrating optical detector can monitor and ignore transitory sources of smoke and has a 20-second delay before going into alarm mode.
