Product Information
The Kidde remote control switch is designed to be compactible with the Kidde Firex & Slick product lines to test the detection system and silence alerts. The remote provides two facilities which are test and hush/locate.
The test facility is designed to make weekly testing on fire sytems so much easier for the end user. The process of the test facility is simple:
- Press once: The Alarm will sound for 10 seconds to test all the interconnected alarms to ensure they are fully operational.
- Press and hold the smoke alarm hush button for 3 seconds: Alarm will stay on
- Press again: Will reset the interconnected alarms automatically.
The hush/locate facility is designed to allow the end user to locate the detected fire or silence the fire alarms.
- Press once: The alarms that have not detected the fire will be silenced to allow the end user to locate the alarm and the area where the fire is located.
- Press twice: The end user will be able to manually re-set the entire system.

Faulty Products
- Products that are faulty must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
