The Lightstep TotalView tablet allows the human operator to view the operation of the Lightstep system as if through a virtual window .

Features:

• It allows an operator to inspect the building on screen as a series of floor plans (or even elevations) which are actual bitmaps of the building's architectural drawings.
• Superimposed on these architectural plans are shown the display devices that have been installed throughout the building as part of the Lightstep system. These devices present as green or red icons and show direction by means of an arrow.
• The display also superimposes the sensors for smokes and heat shich are installed throughout the building. This provides the operator with a view of the activity of these sensors and what level of hazard they are currently detecting.
