Fire Safety Regulations were breached at Addiscrombe Care Home

There has been nearly a dozen fire safety regulations breached at Iyanala Residential Home which has now been given an enforcement notice after London Fire Brigade followed an inspection. It was made public this week that the care home had failed to comply with the 2005 Regulatory Reform Order breaching a total of 9 aspects in September.

Kehinde Lipede the owner of the carehome has been told that she has to 23rd December to comply with the safety regulation and failing to make these improvements will result in the care home being closed. It is also found that they have hired adequately trained employees, and when last contacted Ms Lipede mentioned that most of the issue were nearly resolved.

Ms. Lepede went on to say that she isn’t to worried about the report , as only positive things can arise from it and that she will learn from it to ensure it doesn’t happen in future however it annoyed by the way it was handled and that there is actually fire alarms installed around the house, to provide a suitable method of warning should a fire occur which she has challenged.
