Hubbell Lighting, currently a world leader in lighting innovation, recently announced that it has created an ultra-efficient, technologically advanced and compact exit sign. They have recently added the ‘Dual Lite EVE Series LED Exit Sign’ to their comprehensive range of emergency lighting products. The EVE Series is the newest member of the popular Evolution EV-LED emergency lighting family. This EVE Series offers a compact architectural LED exit sign designed for long life, reliability, efficiency, fast installation and low maintenance.

EVE Series offers a sleek and durable design, which provides a bright and uniform illumination by utilising efficient and long life green or red LEDs, which are rated at 10 years or 100,000 hours. The fixture’s long life cycle NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride battery provides the exit sign with a total of 90 minutes emergency lighting in the event of a power cut, and the low voltage battery disconnect (LVD) protects the battery in the case of a prolonged outage. The series has been made to accept 120/277VAC input at 60 Hz, and an optional 220-240 VAC input at 50/60 Hz with a self-diagnostics option and also includes a constant current charger. Manual testing is also available at any time with an external push to test switch and AC on indicator.

Dual Lite’s new exit sign has a durable housing, with the canopy being made from injection moulded, flame rated UV stable ABS thermoplastic, finally finished with a lightly textured white or black finish. It has been specially designed for quick and easy installation on wall, ceiling or end mounting and includes pre-stripped AC input leads. The exit sign comes with a full 5 year warranty with the battery equipped with a 3 year full/7 year pro-rated warranty.
