Eaton, a power management company with its Cooper Lighting division are proving that LED fixtures can provide a Georgia based car dealership with more than just energy savings. Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business alongside Georgia Power installed 76 Streetworks Galleon LED Fixtures, with energy savings of up to 60%as well as an impressive illumination.

Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business together with Georgia Power conducted a photometric analysis to ensure that the new lighting would meet the latest IES standards. They replaced the current fixtures with lighting division 412W and 515W Galleon LED floodlights to meet the high lumen output which is needed for the parking lot, merchandising and sales area. By installing these fixtures, the dealership was able to cut its total number of fixtures by 16 while still enjoying illumination which is superior. This allowed customers to see the cars distinctive features along with all key factors such as detail and colouring for the buying process.

With a life expectancy of 60.00 hours, the LED fixtures will save on maintenance costs, while allowing the dealership to achieve up to 60% on energy saving and an overall net energy saving of 66,400W.
